Originally, it was a farm in the Sag Bridge area just south of the Sag quarry. The farm was then acquired for use by the Chicago YWCA. This pictuure is probably circa 1940. This is now known as the Camp Sagawau Nature Preserve noted for its unusual limestone canyon, environmental workshops and Nordic ski lessons in the winter. It is operated by Cook County.
